W Maldives wins major awards in FHAM International Culinary Challenge 2017
A team of skilled chefs from W Maldives has won seven medals comprising of one gold and six bronzes at the recently held FHAM International Culinary Challenge.
The event which was held from 8th August to 10th August, is an annual competition that attracts chefs from all the resorts, hotels Guest Houses, Safari Boat Operators, Restaurants and Cafeterias in the Maldives.
W Maldives won Gold Awards in Live Cooking-Lamb, Bronze in Live Cooking- Seafood, Live Cooking- Duck, Live Cooking- Beef, Hot Appetizer, Dress the cake and Creative dessert categories.
FHAM International Culinary challenge is organized in partnership with th World Association of Chefs and Society (WACS), Chef Guilds of Maldives (CGM) and Chef Guilds of Lanka (CGL). The event is curated by Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture, Ministry of Economic Development and Maldives National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
