Niyama Private Islands Maldives is set across a stunning pair of twin islands in southern Dhaalu Atoll. Accessible by a 40-minute seaplane journey taking off from the Velana International Airport, the unique island resort presents two luxurious choices of private twin islands, Play and Chill.
Following Niyama's recommendation, the aptly named island 'Play' caters to the dauntless honeymooners, the thrill-seeking couples and adventurous families. Over at 'Chill', the island offers a more laid-back and relaxed vibe, for guests who visit seeking for a quiet peace of mind.
The guest accommodation at Niyama Private Islands Maldives offers 86 studios and over-water villas, spread across both islands. The resort also offers 9 different dining options including fine-dining restaurant Edge, which is situated half a kilometer out in the ocean and is only accessible by boat, and an asian-dining restaurant called NEST, which is located in a tree-top setting. Niyama Private Island also features the world's very first underwater club, SUBSIX. The resort also offers in-room dining and destination dining.
The Niyama Spa is also a guest favorite, providing treatments and rituals from around the world. The Niyama Spa has 6 over water treatment rooms overlooking the resort's lagoon, and 2 treatment sanctuaries with private gardens, outdoor bath, rain shower and lounge bed.
