Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporations Represented Romantic Side of Maldives at Amour Asia Pacific
Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporations (MMPRC) has represented the romantic side of Maldives at Amour Asia Pacific. The forum was held from the 14th of February through 17th February at the Marriott Marquis Queen's Park in the capital of Thailand, Bangkok. MMPRC was invited to the event by leading international tourism promoter and organisers of Amour Asia Pacific 2018, Big Worldwide Limited.
Amour Asia Pacific 2018 is a luxury travel trade event designed to specifically cater the elite romance travel market, including honeymoon curators, destination wedding planners and romance travel designers.
In a statement, MMPRC has said that, "MMPRC will be promoting the destination during the three-day forum where one on one meetings will be held with potential buyers to discuss on possible joint marketing campaigns which could be carried out for the Market to expand the honeymoon segment."
Maldives welcomed a recorded total of 1.39 million tourist arrivals by the end of 2017, which is a growth of eight percent compared to the previous year.
In the statement, it is also added that,"Amour Asia Pacific 2018 will help spur continued growth of the elite romance travel market.
Maldives has bagged several global and regional awards for being one of the most romantic destinations in the world, with the latest accolade being included in an annual list compiled by Brides magazine of the 20 most honeymoon worthy destinations around the world. Studies and surveys analysing travel trends have also revealed that a healthy majority of travellers that choose the Maldives tend to be honeymooners.
