MATATO Opened Registrations For Three Major International Travel Trade Fairs Set to Take Place In The First Quarter

MATATO opened registration for industry partners to take part in three major international travel trade fairs which are taking place in the first quarter of the year. The South Asian Travel and Trade Exhibition 2017 (SATTE), Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) and Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair (AITF). SATTE is set to take place in New Delhi between January 31st to the 2nd of February while VITM is to take place in Ha Noi through March 29 to April 1st and AITF to take place in Baku from April 5th to 7th. 

Registrations for SATTE is open till the 15th of January while parties interested to attend VITM and AITF may submit applications by the 30th of January.

South Asia's leading B2B travel and tourism exhibition trade SATTE has risen through the ranks as a hub for Indian travel and tourism sector, seeing an astounding response from the Indian and global players. SATTE attracted over 750 participants from over 35 countries and 28 Indian states in the year 2017 alone.

AITF, Azerbaijan’s thriving tourism market attracts numerous locals and international participants each year and brings together a number of industry professionals from the world. Since AITF's commencement, the initiative is fully supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan and continues to preserve its high profile and significance by annually welcoming the country's president.

VITM is the leading and most popular travel fair in Vietnam also well known as one of the key travel shows in the region. VITM has also been an incredible success in 2017 with the participation of over 672 tourism enterprises and organisations from 25 countries and districts displayed in 465 stalls. The event was visited by nearly 3,000 tourism professionals and attracted over 61,000 public visitors. A wide range of professional activities were also held such as international forums and seminars, destination presentations and cultural performances.

MATATO has increased the number of travel trade events that it takes part in, as part of a strategy to encourage more destination marketing. in the year 2017, along with tourism industry personnel, MATATO has showcased the Maldives at 15 varying international travel shows and exhibitions and has announced plans to take part in a total of 19 international travel trade fairs and exhibitions in 2018.
