Fourth Edition of Minor Hotels Explorer Program Starts This July
Minor Hotels Explorer Program is set for the 2018 is set for launch this year. This program enables school-leavers (aged 18-21 year) to set foot into the travel industry and gain a mix of ón-the-job’ and online training modules.
Commencing on July 2018, the program goes on for 12 months and focuses on areas in hospitality such as Food & Beverage service, the kitchen, front office and housekeeping.
Launched in Maldives in 2014, the Explorer program is accredited with international certification from Australia and successful completion earns them hospitality Certificate III qualification which provides a foundation for further leaning to progress towards Certificate IV and ultimately, a Diploma in Hospitality. In addition, graduates of the explorer program are given opportunities to work with the hotel through which they underwent with the Explorer program.
The deadline for applications to enrol in the Minor Hotels Explorer Program is set to June 15th 2018.
