Famed head chef and owner of Singapore’s famous Burnt Ends Grill & Bar restaurant, Dave Pynt is set to return to W Maldives for a series of exclusive culinary events, from November 26-28, 2017. The celebrity chef is scheduled to present his signature dishes at FISH® overwater specialty restaurant, KITCHEN® all-day-dining restaurant, and FIRE® barbeque restaurant. “He will curate a special menu that will be paired with the vintage Champagne and wine labels,” W Maldives said in a statement.
As part of the exclusive culinary series, Dave Pynt will also host a cooking Masterclass to share secrets on how to prepare his custom grilled meat and seafood dishes from ‘Burnt Ends’ restaurant menu.
Chef Dave Pynt, who is originally from Perth, Australia, has worked with culinary legends such as Tetsuya Wakuda (Tetsuya’s and Waku Ghin), Rene Redzepi (Noma), Victor Arguinzoniz (Asador Etxebarri), Nuno Mendes (Viajante and The Loft Project) and Fergus Henderson (St John and St John Bread and Wine).
Dave Pynt was presented the Chef’s Choice Award at the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list, in Bangkok on February 21, 2017. Burnt Ends Grill & Bar is a modern Australian barbeque that offers casual but unique dining experiences with seating at countertop tables that oversee the open kitchen.
