W Maldives has collaborated with famous Australian sunglasses brand, Le Specs to create the exclusive limited edition sunglasses - The Prince The vibrant blue model’s design was inspired by the glowing colours of W Maldives. The promotional photoshoot was shot at W Maldives to best exhibit the inspiration for the design across the sands of the exotic island surroundings, perfectly reflecting the spirit of a tropical escape and the dreamy energy of summer that the Le Specs brand represents.
The Prince model is also part of the new 22 style collection, introducing a new colour palette that conveys a mood of endless vacation. W Maldives’ stylish and playful surroundings effortlessly demonstrates this theme.

Hamish Tame explains, “This season was all about experimenting with colour in
more exotic ways – sunglasses that you could imagine wearing anywhere from
Cuba, to the Whitsundays and Maldives. The palette is hot and balmy, and the
shapes make you feel confident. From a technical point of view, I really wanted
to focus on coloured metal finishes combined with translucent materials, which
feels really fresh and new.”
