Globally famous pizza chain Pizza Hut has opened their ever first outlet in the Maldives. Pizza Hurt Maldives is the joint venture between Island Foods Maldives and Gemma Pizza Craft, which operate Pizza Hut in Sri Lanka.
Pizza Hut Maldives is located in Male' Square with a seating capacity of 70 customers at a time. The honours of opening the outlet were done but he Minister of Economic Development, Mohamed Saeed. The outlet is now open to public and the first 50 customers will win a free Pizza Hut tshirt.
The joint venture will soon be bringing the KFC franchise to Male' as well. KFC will also be located in Male' Square. Apart from KFC and Pizza Hut, The company operates more than 300 outlets in India and Sri Lanka.
A number of international franchise outlets are already operating in the Maldives including Burger King, Movenpick and The Coffee Club. Australia's famous 'Gloria Jean's' will soon make a debut in the Maldives at the Pavilion which is located in Rasfannu.
While Burger King and The Coffee Club are being operated at the Velana International Airport, world renowned brands such as Barista, Marry Brown, Secret Recipe and Movenpick operates their outlets in the capital.
The face of Maldives is revolutionising with even more world famous brands and franchise outlets being brought to the country. Over the past few years, there has been an increase in the incredible support by the locals to these brands.
