Michelin-Star Chef Paul Walsh to Grace St.Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort

Executive Chef of Michelin-Star City Social London Paul Walsh will be hosting a special dinner and cooking classes at the private resort of St.Regis Vommuli Maldives. He will be visiting as a guest chef during the upcoming month of February and will remain in the resort for a full weekend.

The Executive Chef at one Michelin Star City Social London extends his invitation for guests at the private island resort to join him for a dinner on the 9th of February 2018. The five-course tasting menu will be served from 7:30 p.m. onwards at Alba Restaurant. Paul will also host an engaging cooking class the next day, 10th February 2018, from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Alba Restaurant. This is a golden opportunity for vacationers to be engaged in an interactive and rewarding session, especially for those who have a soft spot in their heart for culinary.

Paul Walsh earned a Michelin star for City Social in London during its first year in 2014, retaining it four consecutive times. Regarded in Britain as one of the top restaurant, City Social opened to wide acclaim as a new Jason Atherton addition and it was one of the youngest ever restaurants to receive a Michelin star.

Paul started his training as a Second Commis Chef at the world renown Savoy Hotel under Anton Edelmann at the age of only 18, where he learned the art of cooking refined and delectable food. He then moved to The Savoy Grill when it reopened under the director of Marcus Wareing, and helped achieve a Michelin star, which would eventually lead to him being recognised as one of London's finest chefs rising through the ranks. Paul went on to progress in his career to become a Sous Chef at the famous Restaurant Gordon Ramsay while working with Chef Mark Askew, Simone Zanoni and Clare Smyth in 2005. In 2010, Walsh opened three "28/50 Wine Workshop and Kitchen" sites across London as Head Chef.
