As reported by local and global media, United States President Donald Trump’s sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump are in Maldives to examine the potential contingency in investing in the Maldives’ tourism sector. The brothers arrived at Velana International Airport on Wednesday, 14th February. Local news reports that they stayed at a luxury resort, PER AQUUM Niyama in Dhaalu Atoll for a duration of four days.
Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump currently work as the Executive Vice President at The Trump Organization. The brothers are the eldest sons of current United Stated president, Donald J. Trump and are in charge of running the company during their father’s presidency. Since the election began, Donald Trump Jr, Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump has taken over the running of the organization.
Donald Trump Jr has visited Maldives before, along with his sister Ivanka Trump on a similar trip to study investment opportunities. Analysts have asserted that the Trump organization has suspended new investments over last two years to focus on Donald Trump’s campaign for the US presidency.
According to local news, Mihaaru, the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) is believed to be providing security to these high profile figures.

It is understandable, considering that they are connected to such an important political figure. The Trumps successfully averted from local media and other tourists staying at PER AQUUM Niyama.
The luxury resort has 86 villas, including 4 Beach Pavilion with Private Pool, 2 Water Pavilion with Private Pool, 2 Ocean Pavilion with Private Pool. These pavilions are the most likely choice of accommodation for Trump family members at Niyama as they are exclusively private.
